In this post, we will be looking at recent installation sites and in detail what each site requires in terms of materials and equipment. Each installation of an electric fence in Kenya requires different materials depending on the scope. For instance, a top-wall electric fence may require shorter fencing posts than a freestanding electric fence. Similarly, a game fence may be different from a residential fence. For instance, solar power is used to power most game fences.
Security Solution Tackled
We used a top-wall electric fence combined with razor wire to have a two-layer security fence. The fence is an eight (8) strands electric fence. The razor wire used is 450mm in diameter. In terms of energizer machines, we use Nemtek or JVA Energizer machines for the installation of electric fences in Kenya. To power and monitor the installed electric fence, we used Nemtek Druid 15 Energizer machine. The siren alarm used is a 30-watt siren sounder and strobe light to alert the homeowner.
Through technology and scientific research, scientists have been able to successfully find ways to secure homes. They have been able to discover alternative measures to secure homes. Our client was looking to start a farm to grow fruits for export. The land neighbors a wildlife conservancy. The wild animals would gain access to and destroy all the crops once the farmer starts growing them. has become a possibility.
Our Electric Fencing Solution: Since the area has big wild animals like buffalo, we used treated wooden posts since they don’t break easily even when pushed by big animals. We used 15 strands of 2.5mm2 galvanized high tensile steel wires to both offer security against human intrusion and wild animal attacks. Starfix X18i was used to power the fence. On the other hand, solar power using 150 watts of solar panels was used to generate enough power for the energizer machine.
1: Affordability
Chain link is one of the least expensive fence materials to install when compared to other fence materials. If cost is a major consideration, this style of fencing is an excellent choice.
2: Diversity
Isn’t it true that if you’ve seen one chain link fence, you’ve seen them all? Wrong. This fencing can be modified for a variety of purposes with varied heights, gauges, and color coatings.
3: Easy to Maintain
When properly installed, this fencing doesn’t require much maintenance at all. Thanks to galvanized, aluminized or vinyl coating, it won’t rust or gather dirt. The most you may have to do is trim off any plants growing up along the links.
