When it comes to selecting a water heater for your home or business, one crucial decision is whether to opt for a pressure or non-pressure system. Each type has its own set of advantages and considerations. Let’s dive into the differences between pressure water heaters and non-pressure water heaters to help you make an informed decision.

Pressure Water Heaters: Efficient and Powerful

Pressure water heaters, often referred to as high-pressure systems, are designed to deliver hot water at a consistent flow rate and high pressure. These systems are ideal for homes and establishments with multiple water outlets, ensuring a strong and steady stream of hot water. The key features include:

  1. High Flow Rate: Pressure water heaters are known for their ability to provide a continuous and powerful flow of hot water, making them suitable for larger households or commercial settings.
  2. Effective in Cold Climates: These systems excel in colder climates, as they can maintain a higher water temperature even when the incoming water is colder.
  3. Versatile Applications: Pressure water heaters are versatile and can be used for various applications, including showers, faucets, and appliances that require hot water.

Non-Pressure Water Heaters: Simple and Cost-Effective

Non-pressure water heaters, also known as gravity-fed or low-pressure systems, operate on the principle of natural convection. These systems are simpler in design and are often a cost-effective solution for smaller households. Key features include:

  1. Gravity-Driven Flow: Non-pressure water heaters rely on gravity to circulate water, making them suitable for areas with low water pressure.
  2. Energy-Efficient: These systems can be more energy-efficient, especially in situations where high pressure is not necessary. They are often suitable for regions with a consistent warm climate.
  3. Ease of Installation: Non-pressure water heaters are typically easier to install and maintain, making them a practical choice for residential properties with basic hot water needs.

Choosing between pressure and non-pressure water heaters depends on your specific requirements, budget, and the intended application. If you’re uncertain about which system is right for you, consult with our experts at Ecovexsystems for personalized guidance tailored to your needs.

In this post, we will be looking at recent installation sites and in detail what each site requires in terms of materials and equipment. Each installation of an electric fence in Kenya requires different materials depending on the scope. For instance, a top-wall electric fence may require shorter fencing posts than a freestanding electric fence. Similarly, a game fence may be different from a residential fence. For instance, solar power is used to power most game fences.

Security Solution Tackled

We used a top-wall electric fence combined with razor wire to have a two-layer security fence. The fence is an eight (8) strands electric fence. The razor wire used is 450mm in diameter. In terms of energizer machines, we use Nemtek or JVA Energizer machines for the installation of electric fences in Kenya. To power and monitor the installed electric fence, we used Nemtek Druid 15 Energizer machine. The siren alarm used is a 30-watt siren sounder and strobe light to alert the homeowner.

Through technology and scientific research, scientists have been able to successfully find ways to secure homes. They have been able to discover alternative measures to secure homes. One of these is electric fences. By combining modern-day technology and barbed wires, the production of electric fences

Our client was looking to start a farm to grow fruits for export. The land neighbors a wildlife conservancy. The wild animals would gain access to and destroy all the crops once the farmer starts growing them. has become a possibility.

Our Electric Fencing Solution: Since the area has big wild animals like buffalo, we used treated wooden posts since they don’t break easily even when pushed by big animals. We used 15 strands of 2.5mm2 galvanized high tensile steel wires to both offer security against human intrusion and wild animal attacks. Starfix X18i was used to power the fence. On the other hand, solar power using 150 watts of solar panels was used to generate enough power for the energizer machine.

1: Affordability

Chain link is one of the least expensive fence materials to install when compared to other fence materials. If cost is a major consideration, this style of fencing is an excellent choice.

2: Diversity

Isn’t it true that if you’ve seen one chain link fence, you’ve seen them all? Wrong. This fencing can be modified for a variety of purposes with varied heights, gauges, and color coatings.

3: Easy to Maintain

When properly installed, this fencing doesn’t require much maintenance at all. Thanks to galvanized, aluminized or vinyl coating, it won’t rust or gather dirt. The most you may have to do is trim off any plants growing up along the links.

1. How Worthy are the LED Flood Lights?

If you are wondering if it’s worth an investment, you must consider the benefits they offer. First of all, they are a cost-effective alternative compared to the halogen. How? In spite of a hefty investment at the initial stage, LED floodlights consume up to 80% less energy than their halogen counterparts, which cut down your energy costs in the long run.

Secondly, the lifespan of the LED is on the higher side compared to the halogen lights, which eliminates the need for frequent replacement.

Halogen floods can get too hot to touch, but the LED floods come with metal heat sinks that instantly direct heat away to maintain a lower running temperature. This also helps to extend the lifespan of the LED chips inside.

Whether you’re lighting-up a car park, a garage or your back garden, LED floodlights will offer a wider beam angle, thus, releasing better and a more efficient coverage.

2. How Bright are the LED Floodlights?

It’s already mentioned that LED light consume lesser watts than the halogen counterparts, which means they use a lot less energy. However, that does not delimit their brightness in any way. You can expect a better level of brightness in LED than the halogen. Since LED lights come with higher number of lumens, its brightness is never suffered.

3. Can You Dim Your LED Floodlight?

Not all LED floodlights are dimmable. If you need a dimmable bulb, make sure you check the product specification while buying it.

4. Parameters of Choosing LED Floodlight

So, if you are already convinced to buy this product, consider several things on a priority basis.

First of all, check the brightness. LED lights are already featured with higher number of lumens which determine their brightness. However, don’t forget to check the lumen count while buying as it would help you decide the brightness.

There are certain automatic capabilities that you might need to check on. There’s an additional security and efficiency option, such as a distance sensor, automatic time-mode or daylight sensor. A distance sensor prompts the floodlight to switch on automatically when motion is sensed within a certain distance of the light. Some flood lights also come with a time mode, which defines the time of its operation. Check out the colour and design options to find the best one according to your needs.

Flood lights have come a long way in the past couple of years with LED technology. Nowadays, they make a great choice, whether for residential or commercial usage.
